Spires around the planet are visual markers used for navigation (due to having no radio / long range communication) and points of interest. Trade done by dirigible, so they navigate to the spires to set up. Also used for semaphore signals.

Water cycles: Each part of cycle lasts 1d6 days. Change is obvious with 1 day warning.

  • Deluge - torrential rain, must shelter
  • Placid - seas have formed, only high ground available
  • Low Fog - Oceans significantly boiled off, lowland swampy
  • High Fog - Oceans completely dry
